The economic situation of Moldova has been affected. The state of emergency has a considerable impact on the state budget and the revenues declined substantially owing to the halt in economic activity, stated Prime Minister Ion Chicu.
In a press briefing after the meeting of the senior state officials on April 6, Premier Chicu said the authorities will manage the situation so that all the persons receive pensions and salaries according to schedule, IPN reports.
“We will divide the money equitably for all the people who need and hope to return to normal economic activity in three-four weeks,” stated the official Ion Chicu.
By the end of this week, representatives of Moldova’s Post Office, accompanied by police officers, will take pensions and social benefits to recipients home.
