Prime Minister Ion Chicu congratulated his Romanian counterpart, Ludovic Orban, on the occasion of the National Day of Romania, wishing him "the most cordial congratulations and good health, peace and prosperity".
The Moldovan prime minister expressed his appreciation for the dynamics of the bilateral political dialogue and the evolution of the economic and social cooperation between the two countries.
"The multitude of strategic projects implemented with the financial support from the government of Romania and the recent creation of the Department on the relationship with the Republic of Moldova eloquently confirms that my country continues to be a top priority for the Romanian authorities", said Ion Chicu in a letter sent to the Romanian prime minister.
The prime minister thanked for all the manifestations of involvement and support that Moldova enjoyed within the framework of bilateral Strategic Partnership for European integration of the Republic of Moldova and invited Ludovic Orban to Chișinău at a convenient time.
