Very serious things happened in the recent past, including an anti-constitutional attempt that was well planned by those who usurped the power in the state. The Democratic Party attempted to keep power at any cost, Deputy Speaker of Parliament Ion Ceban was quoted by IPN as saying in a talk show on the public TV channel Moldova 1.
He noted the attempt was made using the Police, the Army and many other instruments, including upset people who were paid to stay in tents in front of state institutions and Constitutional Court judgements. Those who gave orders should be held accountable.
As to the tents put up in front of state institutions, Ion Ceban said the goal of the Democratic Party was not to allow the MPs and the new ministers to enter the Government Building and ministries. The actions taken by the Constitutional Court judges when the new parliamentary majority was being formed are inadmissible and these judges should tender their resignations.
Among the priorities for the immediate period, Ion Ceban named the de-oligarchization of the state and liberation of the state institutions. In parallel, they will analyze social and economic projects that will be implemented in the nearest future. The state budget will be reviewed soon.
