If the November 19 referendum to dismiss Dorin Chirtoaca from the post of mayor general of Chisinau of fails, Chirtoaca will return to the City Hall, leader of the Socialist group on the Chisinau Municipal Council Ion Ceban stated in the talk show “Important” on TVC21 channel, IPN reports.
According to Ion Ceban, if not enough votes are gathered in the referendum, Dorin Chirtoaca will keep his post and will return to the Chisinau City Hall in the nearest future.
Deputy chairman of the Liberal Party Valeriu Munteanu in the same program said there are reasonable suspicions to believe that the Party of Socialists and the Democratic Party organize the referendum and they will keep Dorin Chirtoaca under house arrest, in Colonita, and he will be thus unable to go and talk to the people.
