The National Alternative Movement’s candidate for mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban today voted for the development of Chisinau, for the development of the Republic of Moldova’s capital – for the children, for the grownups and older ones. He also voted for a clear, modern and well laid out city, IPN reports.
“Chisinau is our home, of everyone. I, as all of you, love Chisinau and want the municipality to develop further through new, nice projects for the people and the community,” Ion Ceban told the press.
The contender noted that he wants the electoral competitor to be fair. “I want only to urge the people to go to the polls as this is very important. Today we decide how the city will look like in the future,” stated the MAN leader.
The threshold for the mayoral election is ¼ of the voting-eligible population.
