The involvement of some of the state institutions in electoral charity events before the Easter holidays means discrediting of these institutions, Valentin Dolganiuc, a member of the Civic Platform “Dignity and Truth”, stated in the program “Expertise hour” on Jurnal TV channel, IPN reports.
Furthermore, Valentin Doganiuc said the citizens of the Republic of Moldova have been recently deprived of one more institution – the Church. “Dodon and Plahotniuc already dared to enter the Church and to occupy it and this way they profaned the Church,” he stated, referring to the fact that the Holy Fire was brought with the involvement of politicians.
Liberal MP Lilian Carp said the state institutions in the Republic of Moldova collapsed. Not professionals, but persons loyal to the regime are named to manage these. “In such conditions, the regulations of each institution apart do not work as they should. The state institutions work based on instructions given from the upper level,” he stated, referring also to the charity events before the Easter holidays that involved some of the state institutions.
Spokesman for the Liberal Democratic Party Ion Terguta said he would like the minister of the interior to explain what money was used to pay for the trip made by the deputy head of the General Police Inspectorate of the Ministry of the Interior Gheorghe Cavcaliuc to Jerusalem to bring the Holy Fire and what kind of mission he had. “I want to see the funds used by the Ministry of the Interior to purchase and donate particular things to the people. We do not talk now about a charity foundation. This is a public institution with well-defined duties and with a strictly regulated budget. So, I want to see where these institutions took money from and we will then discuss the professional dignity,” stated Ion Terguta.
