Investments of over US$43.5m lei to be made in industrial park “Tracom”

Thirteen companies were designated as residents of the industrial park “Tracom”. According to the proposed projects, the investments in the park will total over 43.5 million lei, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry of Economy. The areas of activity proposed by the applicants include: production and procession of artificial stone and materials, rods and wooden, metal and polystyrene frames, light metal articles and equipment for the extractive industry and construction, labels, flexible packing and of stationery, large-format printing services, making of wooden items, water jet cutting services. The winners and investment projects were chosen based on the number of points scored according to the selection criteria. Special attention was paid to the planned volume of investments, the incomes projected from sales/services, and the number of new workplaces that will be created. The residents were selected according to the kinds of activity indicated in the investment projects, based on the specialization of the industrial park.
