Officers of the National Anticorruption Center and of the Security and Intelligence Service are taking criminal investigation measures at the Chisinau International Airport in a case of corruption, IPN reports.
According to NAC, it is a complex case started on June 23 based on operational information. There were identified a number of episodes of asking for bribe from flight passengers leaving the Republic of Moldova.
The investigation features employees of the General Border Police Inspectorate who are suspected of asking for money for facilitating the crossing of the border by not obeying the anti-COVID-19 rules.
