The intervention teams of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” (ACC) will be on duty during the nonworking days of March 8-11 as well so as to ensure the good functioning of the water supply and sewerage service, IPN reports.
The water supplier said both the intervention teams and the central dispatcher’s office of the company will work according to the usual schedule. The calls to the dispatcher’s office on 022-256-666 will be answered nonstop.
According to ACC, ten emergency response teams for dealing with water pipe accidents and three teams for dealing with sewer pipe accidents will work in the period. The intervention teams will act swiftly so that all the accidents and faults in the water supply and sewerage system are remedied swiftly and the company’s clients benefit from services of a high quality.
The number of accidents in the system has continuously declined after the company implemented new technology. Within the project supported by the EBRD and EIB that is under implementation, works to renovate about 140 km of water pipes and 7 km of sewer pipes will be launched this spring.
