The Supreme Court of Justice upheld the decision of the Court of Appeals by which the interurban bus and minibus fares are increased by 0.2 lei per km, executive director of the Union of Carriers and Road Workers Eugen Datsko has told IPN.
Thus, the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure will have to comply with the court decision and to raise the fares, stated Eugen Datsko.
The carriers propose that the fares be raised by 50% in autumn and by another 50% in spring. Now the fare for 100 km is 38 lei. From autumn it will be 48 lei, while from spring – 58 lei.
