The intersection of the streets Vasile Alecsandri and Alexandru cel Bun will be inaccessible to traffic in the period between August 13 and 16 in connection with street repair works, IPN reports.
In the August 10 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, acting head of the General Public Transport and Communications Division Igor Gamretski said works to lay water and sewer pipes and to set up street lighting will be carried out in parallel.
The rehabilitation and modernization of Vasile Alecsandri St forms part of a project implemented with loans provided by a number of European institutions. Within the same project, there are repaired Stefan cel Mare Blvd and Constantin Negruzzi St.
