International tender contest to rehabilitate secondary water pipes

The international tender contest to rehabilitate secondary water pipes in Chisinau municipality was announced. During 60 days, by December 20, 11am, the interested companies can submit participation applications and bids to the head office of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau”, located at 38 Albisoara St, IPN reports.

In a press release, the public utility says the tender contest is held to choose companies that will make purchases and will rehabilitate water pipes with the diameter of 50 to 300 mm, including branch lines of apartment buildings with the total length of about 52 km, 3 km of which are in the private sector, during 540 days.

Within the Priority Investment Program to the value of €64.8m, financed by the EBRD and EIB, 205 km of water pipes, over 3,000 branch lines of apartment buildings and about 15 km of sewer pipes are to be rehabilitated by December 2018. More information is available here.

The water supplier says that at the request of bidders, the deadline for applications to take part in the international tender contest to rehabilitate the wastewater treatment station and the new mud treatment line was extended until November 10, 2016, 11am, with the consent of the EBRD and EIB.
