International Group to invest in Chisinau’s infrastructure

The Delegation’s members of SUEZ, an international industrial and services group based in France, expressed their availability to implement jointly with the municipal and central public authorities mutual projects on the territory of Chisinau. The head of the delegation, Nicolas Jain-Nielsen, announced about this at the meeting with the interim mayor of Municipality Vasile Ursu. According to the mayoralty’s press service, Vasile Ursu saluted the intentions of SUEZ Company, presenting to the delegation the whole list of important objectives, for which Municipality has insufficient investments. Among them are: the reconstruction of Residual Water Recycling Station, construction of Waste Recycling Plant, construction and repairing of roads, rebuilding engineer infrastructure, as well as construction and repairing of living space. The interim mayor informed his partners that Chisinau mayoralty has announced already an international tender in order to attract investment credits and invited SUEZ company to take part. The next week, SUEZ Group will send to Chisinau a representative who will analyze the offers. SUEZ is one of the biggest groups comprising international companies working in the field of electicity, gas, energy services, water and waste management. The turnover of the company is of 40 billion euros per year and the number of employees is over 160,000.
