International Forum of European Prosecutors will take place in Chisinau

In 2012, the International Forum of European Prosecutors will take place in Chisinau. Details regarding its organization have been discussed during Moldovan Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubco’s meeting with the official delegation of the Prosecution Office of Saxony, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Our presence here, in Chisinau, reflects Saxon Prosecution Office’s solidarity with its Moldovan counterpart’s constant efforts of reform, based on the principles of a state of law, democracy and fundamental rights. We think this expresses the profound friendship between us”, said Klaus Fleishmann, Prosecutor General of the Land of Saxony. The discussion focused on aspects of European Community’s requirements for organizing such and event in Chisinau. All technical and logistic possibilities were presented and a decision should be made by the EC in a few months. The German delegation said the Prosecutor General’s Office of Saxony will firmly support the Moldovan one in organizing the event and in continuing its reforms.
