Employees of the Ministry of the Interior seized a number of documents at the Chisinau General Public Transport and Communication Division during a search that followed another search performed at the road maintenance company “Exdrupo”, the Division’s head Igor Gamretski announced in the August 4 meeting of officials of Chisinau divisions and services, IPN reports.
Igor Gamretski said there were examined documents dating from 2013 until present and the mail between the Transport Division and “Exdrupo”. The Ministry’s employees also checked the work volumes and how the work was done.
At the end of July, officers of the Chisinau Police Division carried out an inspection at “Exdrupo” and at the homes of some of the employees, where they confiscated documents that will be used within a criminal case. The company’s administration is suspected of appropriating public funds.
