The National Integrity Authority (ANI) said it discovered a case of incompatibility of offices. It appears a Telenesti district councilor also receives a salary as director of the Telenesti Creative Center.
The ANI says Olga Gherman violated the law, which states that local elected officials are prohibited from simultaneously holding managerial posts in institutions subordinated to local authorities. In case such conflicts of offices occur, the office holder must either quit the incompatible job or resign as councilor within 30 days.
The ANI will report this to the Central Election Commission with the request to strip Gherman of her councilorship.
