The Government will continue to implement the European agenda and to accelerate the dialogue with the EU so that all the stages of the negotiations on the main European integration-related issues, including the Free Trade Agreement and the Visa Liberalization Agreement, are finished by the Vilnius Summit, Prime Minister Iurie Leanca said in the first meeting with the ambassadors of the EU member states to Moldova, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Government.

The Premier told the partners about the priorities set by the Government for the immediate future, underlining the importance of strengthening the governmental team and of ensuring efficient communication at internal level, between the Government and Parliament, and between the Government and the development partners, civil society, the business circles so as to achieve the set objectives.

Iurie Leanca assured the diplomats that the Government is open for cooperation and communication and expressed his confidence that only by concerted effort will they manage to achieve remarkable results that will benefit the Moldovan people.

The Head of the EU Delegation to Moldova Dirk Schuebel offered his congratulations on the investiture of the new government, voicing hope that the political stability established in Moldova will be durable and will ensure the conditions needed for the continuous development of society, the promotion of reforms and the implementation of the European standards in the country.
