This will incorporate all the data used by the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) and will keep records of medically insured and noninsured persons and of persons registered by the family doctor, IPN reports.

The system will also keep a record of the paid mandatory health insurance premiums and of the medical and pharmaceutical service providers contracted by CNAM. It will also register and inform about the network of compensated medicines and devices.

In the Government meeting, CNAM director Ion Dodon said the goal is to modernize the information systems managed and used by CNAM by implementing an integrated solution. The system will ensure transparency in the supervision and management of the resources of the mandatory health issuance funds.
