Insulin was included in the list of drugs compensated from the compulsory health insurance fund, IPN reports.
A decision to this effect was signed by acting Prime Minister Vlad Filat on April 8. According to a communiqué from the Government, the persons suffering from chronic diabetes will receive gratis insulin from the closest drugstore and will not have to go to the medical institutions that distributed this medicine earlier.
The order was made on the occasion of the World Health Day.
