Institutionalized children from Straseni to benefit from free dental services

Students of the Straseni boarding schools for orphans and children who remained without parental care will be provided with free dental treatment and consultancy services by joint Moldovan-American teams of dentists, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Ministry of Health. The two dentist surgeons from North Carolina will work in Moldova for a month, in cooperation with Moldovan dentists and students of the dentistry faculty of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu”. The teams of doctors will treat dental diseases, repair the teeth and teach the children how to clean the teeth and prevent dental decay. The U.S. surgeons gave 400 sets containing by a toothbrush and toothpaste to children as a gift. The dental treatment and consultancy services are provided under a cooperation partnership between Moldova and North Carolina. There will be examined more than 250 institutionalized children.
