Inspectors find six garages built illegally in Ciocana district

Specialists of the State Construction Inspectorate identified a building site on Nicolae Milescu Spatarul St in Chisinau’s Ciocana district, where there were illegally erected six garages. The inspections were carried out after a young man was electrocuted at that site at the start of this month, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Regional Development and Constructions, it was established that a number of unidentified persons occupied illegally a public plot and executed construction works without holding the necessary documents. A report was earlier drawn up against the owner of the structure over unauthorized construction and intervention. On November 6, the court issued a prescription, ordering that the construction works at that site be stopped. In a letter to the mayor general of Chisinau, the head of Ciocana district and the district commissioner, the inspectors asked demolishing that construction that was built illegally. Following the intervention of the inspectors, one of the owners of the garages started to take down two of the six garages built illegally. The owners of the other garages could not be found.
