The deputy head of the Strategic Research and Political Consultancy Center “Politicon” Ion Tabarta considers the fact that the National Anticorruption Center carried out inspections at the Main State Tax Inspectorate namely when the commission of inquiry into the Domneasca Forest incident presented its report in Parliament and when the MPs adopted the bill to liquidate the post of First Deputy Speaker is doubtful. “This thing arouses doubts. There are suspicions that the inspections were performed by order against the PLDM,” the analyst stated for Info-Prim Neo. Ion Tabarta said there were more such coincidences. When the PLDM demanded dismissing Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubco, a number of criminal cases appeared against ministers representing this party. “The way these inspections were carried out and their chronology and the concurrence of certain events are suspicious. There appear questions and we cannot say that the National Anticorruption Center is investigating these cases without intervention from outside and without certain instructions,” said the analyst. According to him, the struggle between the PLDM and PDM is evident. As a result of these tensions, it will become known that the state institutions are managed by shadow institutions, the state institutions will become stronger and a state of law will start to be built in Moldova, or there will be called early elections as a result of which the power will be reconfigured. “We hope that this struggle will be a beneficial one,” said Ion Tabarta. Following the distribution of posts based on the agreement on the creation of the Alliance for European Integration, the position of director of the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime, which was then renamed the National Anticorruption Center, was given to the PDM, while of director of the State Main Tax Inspectorate – to the PLDM.
