Innovative boilers for producing heat based on water and electricity will be assembled at the industrial park “Tracom”. The technology is developed by the company “Hydro Power” and is being certified and patented in Moldova. According to representatives of the company, this technology is a world innovation that outstrips the closest competitors from the United States and South Korea 3-4 times, IPN reports.
Aleksandr Shyveliov, scientific coordinator at “Hydro Power”, said the new technology on which they worked for three years helps to generate 15 times more energy than it is consumed. This is now the most efficient method of producing heat from water.
“It’s known that the lack of energy resources is a big problem in Moldova. The technology provided by “Hydro Power” SRL allows economizing on everything that is related to the consumption of energy resources,” said the director of “Tracom” Vitalie Vrabie. Last year, “Tracom” paid 12,000 lei on average a month for heat. When the “Hydro Power” boilers start to be used, the costs will decrease to 1,000 lei a month.
“Hydro Power” director Octavian Sangheli said a boiler of this type will consume 300-700g of water and 1-1.8 kWh an hour. Thus, the heating of 350 square meters of area will cost 855 lei. The production of boilers will begin in about two months. “Hydro Power” already received orders from Ukraine, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, and Slovenia.
According to Valeriu Ilar, who is responsible for production, the boilers will have a guarantee of five years, but will be functional during ten years. The boilers will be intelligent and will be controlled at a distance by using iOS and Android software. The current prototype is designed for 250 square meters and is not cost-efficient for apartments, but is recommended for schools, kindergartens, hospitals and for the head offices of some companies.
The boilers based on the “Hydro Power” technology will be assembled in partnership with the industrial park “Tracom”, the plant “InComMas” and the Bulgarian company “Samel 90”.
