Innovations of UTM students displayed at exhibition

The innovations and creations of the students of the Technical University of Moldova (UTM) were presented at an exhibition themed “Creation opens Universe”. It was set up inside a large tent on the stadium of the University’s campus, Info-Prim Neo reports. The students displayed model innovations in such areas as interior design, clothing, architecture, electro-mechanics, IT programs, and traditional foods. Attending the event, Prime Minister Vlad Filat said he was glad that Moldova has such talents. He stated he will support these young people so that they do something nice and useful for the country. Creativity is the UTM students’ visiting card, said the University’s rector Ion Bostan. He urged the high school graduates to continue their studies at the UTM. After the festive part, the Premier was invited to plant a fir tree in the University’s yard. Vlad Filat said he always does such acts with pleasures as they remind him of childhood. The event forms part of a festival that includes other activities involving students. Among them are specialized contests, seminars, a roundtable meeting, and a cocktail discussion between sponsors and students.
