Information from the scanned employment record books can be accessed on the website of the National House of Social Insurance (CNAS), in the personal social insurance account. To obtain this information, the person must have a digital signature or a password issued by the CNAS. When the personal social insurance account is entered, one should put a tick in the section “inclusion of labor relations history”, IPN reports.
The CNAS noted that as the employees since 2019 have not been obliged to fill out the employment record books for keeping employment records, the access to information from the employment record book is a frequently discussed issue.
In accordance with a Government decision, the National House of Social Insurance scanned the information from the employment record books in order to complement the information from the personal social insurance account with data concerning employment until January 1, 1999, when the State Register of Individual Public Social Insurance System Records was created.
The personal social insurance accounts contain information only regarding persons who worked before January 1, 1999 and who weren’t recipients of old-age pensions when the employment record books were being scanned (May-December 2018).
The persons who met the scanning conditions, but identify inaccuracies in the data from the personal account can file an email to secretariat@cnas.gov.md so as to clarify the given issues.
