The Ministry of Economy and the Consumer Protection Agency are launching an awareness-raising campaign intended for consumers. It will be carried out in a number of Moldovan settlements between March 4 and 20, IPN reports, quoting a communique of the Ministry of Economy.
Within the campaign, the consumers will be told about methods of informing about products of a poor quality, of returning such products or of demanding a refund and about the incorrect commercial practices and unlawful contract clauses. The economic entities will be familiarized with the legal provisions concerning the entrepreneurial activity and the good practices in relation to the consumers.
The campaign will be staged on the occasion of the World Consumer Rights Day that is traditionally celebrated on March 15.
