As of September 1, the doctors qualified to treat infectious and very infectious diseases will get larger salaries, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Cabinet approved of a decision enabling epidemiologists and bacteriologists, as well as their assisting personnel to get a 15% raise for every year of work in highly risky conditions. The maximum increase can edge up to 100% of the basic salary.
The medical personnel involved in treating HIV-related diseases will get an increase of 10 % for every year of work, and can edge up to 60% of the basic salary.
The increases will take out 2.7 million lei from the state budget.
