A driver who on Sunday, May 14, caused a road accident with three deaths was inebriated. The General Police Inspectorate said the 33-year-old man was arrested for 72 hours, IPN reports.
The accident occurred on the M3 Chisinau-Cimișlia road, between Băcioi and Răzeni villages. Two cars collided and three people died, while another three were hurt as a result. The driver who caused the accident was drunk. Legal action was taken in this case.
The persons who died – two men aged 24 and a woman aged 23 - were passengers of the other car. Two occupants of the car driven by the inebriated man and the driver of the other car aged 24 were admitted to the hospital.
