Firefighters warn that the probability of fires when using open fire increases when the temperatures are high and the level of moisture is reduced. According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, 53 dry vegetation fires have been extinguished in different parts of the country during the last 24 hours alone, IPN reports.

The firemen call on the people to obey the anti-fire rules, not to burn piles of wood and not to destroy household waste by fire. The warning was issued in the context of the yellow code advisory for dog days issued by the State Hydrometeorology Service for the period between August 8 and 12. In the period, the temperatures will exceed 33 degrees Celsius and there will be no rain. These conditions can favor vegetation fires when the security rules are not respected.

Rescuers urge the people to call 901 in emergencies.
