“In Childhood’s Garden” – book by children from residential institutions and their community fellows

185 poems and drawings created by children from residential childcare and social and medical protection institutions together with their fellows from community schools and universities were incorporated into a book titled “In Childhood’s Garden”, which will be brought out this week, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Ministry of Education and Youth. The works have been selected by contest. Most of the drawings and poems deal with childhood: “In Childhood’s Garden”, “Being a Child...”, “Childhood, You are Eternal!”, “Childhood, Please don’t Go!”, “Childhood Fairytale”, “Funny Moments from Childhood” etc. The book was produced with support from Children's High Level Group (CHLG) in Moldova in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Youth, the Ministry of Social Protection, Family and Child and the Ministry of Health as part of the activities dedicated to the International Children’s Day. The book will be launched at the municipal library “P. Hasdeu” in Chisinau on May 14 and 15, at the Home of Culture in Ialoveni on May 16 and at the Home of Culture in Floresti on May 17.
