Students from 80 schools at the end of the fourth grade will take the national exams on the computer. The pilot project is carried out by the Ministry of Education and Research and the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment. It includes educational institutions from 21 districts and municipalities that expressed interest in participating in the exercise, IPN reports.

On 12-14 March, the organizers of the pilot testing will participate in a series of training courses organized by the Ministry and the Agency, in partnership with a group of experts from Estonia. The Estonian specialists will provide information about the digital platform used to conduct the testing and explain the technical and functional aspects related to it.

"The implementation of digital testing is an important step in the process of modernizing the education system in the Republic of Moldova. We are proud to cooperate with specialists from Estonia - an example of success in digital education," said Lilia Ivanov, director of the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment.

During March 24-28, students from the institutions participating in the pilot program will have the opportunity to test the digital platform in order to familiarize themselves with the process.

The national mathematics exam for primary school students will be sat on May 13.
