The doctors who will commit violations when they examine the state of health of the future National Army recruits will be punished disciplinarily. An order to this effect was issued by Minister of Health Andrei Usatyi, IPN reports.

Under the order, the hospital directors will have to closer monitor the work of medical-military commissions. They will review the composition of the commissions and will make sure that they include only skilled specialists as well as a psychologist.

Two weeks ago, the issue concerning the state of health of the National Army conscripts was discussed in a Cabinet meeting. Many of them suffer from tuberculosis, chronic hepatitis, diseases of the urinary apparatus and even mental disorders. During two years, 50 soldiers were discharged from the army on health grounds.
