The process of filming a movie is rather stressing and is not as simple as it may seem at first sight. Responsibility must be assumed for the whole crew, for the actors who come to act, for the quality of the product. Ultimately, a good farmer makes a good farm, said Adriana Vasilcov, director and producer of the film “Man without a Lifeline”, who, alongside actors and the main protagonist of the movie, shared their impressions in a news conference at IPN.

Remembering unusual things from the filming location, the director said that two actresses were to fight in the movie. Maia Morgenstern initially refused to hit Dana Ciobanu, who was rather frail, but the hitting scene was ultimately filmed.

She noted that she wasn’t only applauded. It was sincere cooperation and she learned lessons from particular situations. The crew’s task was to bring different age categories to the cinema.

Actress Alina Rusu said that there was a more intimate scene where she had to take off her clothes. It was one of the most memorable scenes, but she had to fully enter her character Tina.

Actor Petru Oistric noted that he worked with special pleasure and never hesitated and intended to give up. “When there is a powerful team behind you, you cannot step back,” said the actor.

Scriptwriter and main protagonist of the film Ionel Sporea, a Romanian engineer, said that he hasn’t yet seen the film, but is sure that this will be extraordinary. There are many people who want to go to the premiere in Bucharest, Iasi, Timisoara. The Romanian community in Canada, the U.S., Florida, all those who know about the film are impatient to see it. His decision to invest in the film was one of the best choices in his life.  He wanted to show that that things had been different. He stayed in jail in Jilava and experienced an ordeal. The successes he obtained later can be an example to be followed.

“We deserve public praise and recognition for doing something that will remain after us,” stated Ionel Sporea.

The news conference was held in the framework of IPN’s project “Double Integration through Cooperation and Information” which is implemented with financing from the Department for the Relationship with the Republic of Moldova of the Government of Romania. The content of the news conference does not represent the official position of the Department for the Relationship with the Republic of Moldova.
