The importers of protection masks said the prices of these products in drugstores increased because the foreign producers raised prices compared with 2019. The announcement was made by the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices that asked for information from importers, IPN reports.
The Agency noted the profit margin on medical devices in Moldova is not regulated at present. The importing companies set the prices of medical devices in accordance with the producer prices.
The national drugstores have supplies of protection masks that are made available to the population, as the importers of medical devices said.
