The implementation of the Priority Investments Program of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” to the value of €64.8 million, which is financed by the EBRD and EIB, has advanced, IPN reports.
“Apa-Canal Chisinau” said a specialized commission, which consists of local and foreign experts, is analyzing the bids submitted within the three tender contests held to select contractors for delivering and installing pumping and electrical equipment at the Chisinau pumping stations, supplying machines and specialized equipment, and for supplying maintenance and leakages detection equipment.
The requirements for the tender contest regarding the information management system, which is rather important for modernizing this area of activity of the company, have been practically finalized. For the same purpose, specialists of “Apa-Canal Chisinau”, together with foreign consultants, paid a fact-finding visit to the water operator “Apa Nova”, which is based in Romania’s Iasi. This tender contest is to be launched in November.
The technical requirements for holding the SCADA tender contest to monitor, control and purchase data were worked out and all the pumping stations and installations that are to be included in the given system will be inspected. All the drinking water reservoirs were already inspected and documented.
The requirements for the first tender contest to rehabilitate water pipes are ready too. There were identified the segments of sewer pipes that will be rehabilitated and made requests for formulating the technical conditions, designing the network placement schemes and issuing urbanism certificates.
