An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission led by Ivanna Vladkova-Hollar will have a working visit to Chisinau during February 23 – 29, 2016, IPN reports.
In a press statement, IMF Resident Representative in the Republic of Moldova Armine Khachatryan says that this is a fact-finding mission to update on recent economic developments and discuss the authorities’ policies to maintain macroeconomic stability and improve governance.
The mission does not have the mandate to negotiate a financial assistance program and its outcome will not be discussed at the IMF Executive Board.
