A mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will visit Moldova this autumn to initiate negotiations on a new financing agreement with the country, IMF Executive Director Menno Snel announced in a meeting with Head of Parliament Igor Corman, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Parliament’s press service, the officials exchanged opinions on the prospects of cooperation and accomplishment of the European reform agenda.
The Speaker said the new cooperation program with the IMF should be worked out based on the experience accumulated within the programs implemented earlier and on the national priorities so that its implementation contributes to sustainable economic growth.
