Igor Ursachi is no longer the acting coach of the Under 21 national team of Moldova. The results achieved by him at the CIS Cup made the members of the Executive Committee of the Moldovan Football Federation name him incumbent coach for the qualifying rounds of the 2017 European Championship as well, IPN reports.
Guided by Igor Ursachi, the U-21 team of Moldova suffered no defeat at the CIS Cup in Saint Petersburg. The ‘tricolors’ scored only draws in the three matches of the group and won the games against Estonia and Latvia, ranking ninth out of 12 competing teams.
In his career, Igor Ursachi worked as assistant coach of Viktor Pasulko at the national team and coached Dacia, Veris, and FC Costuleni.
