President Igor Dodon will meet with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on January 17, 2017. The date was announced after Igor Dodon’s meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Rogozin, who arrived in Chisinau last night, IPN reports, quoting the presidential press service.
In the meeting, Dmitry Rogozin transmitted to Igor Dodon congratulations on the part of Russia on the occasion of his investing as President and the invitation to pay an official visit to the Russian Federation.
The interlocutors exchanged opinions on the current state of the Moldovan-Russian relations, the prospects of making headway in the Transnistrian conflict settlement, the main problems existing in the bilateral relations and the agenda of the meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
”I accepted with pleasure the invitation and voiced hope that the Moldovan-Russian relations will be fully restored,” stated Igor Dodon.
The meeting with Vladimir Putin will be held on January 17, 2017.
