The second person with a double identity in Moldova is millionaire Vaja Jhashi, IPN quoted President Igor Dodon as saying.
“Last November, after the meeting of the Supreme Security Council, I informed you that I received official information from services – there are two persons who, according to the SIS and other bodies, obtained the second identity illegally. I said that one is Plahotniuc and the other person I didn’t name because the services said that this information is secret. Now I can tell you that the second person is not Yaralov, but Vaja Jhashi,” President Dodon stated in a new edition of the program “President Responds”.
At the start of last December, Igor Dodon said that two additional identities were issued illegally: on July 29, 2018, in the name of Novac Vladislav Vladimir, and on August 29, 2018, in the name of Reznic Alexandru Mihai. These identities haven’t been used.
Earlier, MP of the DA Platform group of the ACUM Bloc Kiril Moțpan, ex-chairman of the parliamentary commission on national security, defense and public order, said he came into possession of documents showing that at least four persons close to the former leader of the Democratic Party Vladimir Plahotniuc have a double identity. He stated he has information about the name Haikin that was given to Sergey Yaralov and that became known from an order made by an anticorruption prosecutor.
