President Igor Dodon plans to make a visit to the U.S. during July 1-8, at the invitation of the president of the International Organization for the Family Brian Brown. While in the United States, President Dodon will have a series of meetings with representatives of the U.S. Government, members of the Congress and senior state officials as well as with representatives of media outlets and expert organizations, IPN reports.
The subject of the visit was discussed in a meeting of President Dodon and U.S. Ambassador in Chisinau James Pettit. The Head of State reiterated that the Republic of Moldova should have a continuous dialog both with the East and with the West and should develop relations of friendship, commercial, bilateral and multilateral relations in the interests of the country.
In a meeting with Germany’s Ambassador to Moldova Julia Monar earlier, Igor Dodon discussed his visit to Berlin, which was scheduled for March 1-3, 2018.
