Igor Dodon pledges to make effort to develop children’s sport

The winners and participants in the chess championship for children younger than 12, which closed recently in Chisinau, were awarded for their effort. The award ceremony was attended by the PCRM’s candidate for mayor of Chisinau Igor Dodon, whose son Vlad also plays chess, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the PCRM. During the ceremony, Igor Dodon said he takes part in the event not as a politician, but as a father and a person who cares about the children’s sport. He stressed he will do his utmost to develop this sport in Moldova.
