Viorel Donica, ex-director of the state-run company “Univers-Agro”, who is an ex-faculty mate of the candidate for President Igor Dodon, called on the electors not to vote for this because he is the man of Vlad Plahotniuc, who is a criminal.
In a news conference at IPN, Viorel Donica said he talked to many inhabitants of his native village of Hancesti district and these told him that the mayor, who represents the Democratic Party (PDM), urges them to vote for Dodon. This is one more indirect proof showing that Dodon is supported by Plahotniuc.
Donica accuses Vlad Plahotniuc of wrongdoings, including of trying to kill him. Donica said he is ill. An accurate diagnosis hasn’t been yet made, but he suspects that he was infected by order of Plahotniuc with whose disfavor he fell because he claimed incomes to which other members of the PDM aspired. The man related that in 2010 he borrowed money and invested it in the repair of a summer camp. He recovered a part of the investments during the first year, but the next year he no longer won the tender contest by which the authorities purchased summer camp tickets for students.
He tried to challenge the results of the tender contest, especially because the selected camp didn’t offer the best conditions and this fact was proven later, when 30 children got poisoned there. In a news conference earlier, he criticized a number of functionaries, especially the then minister of labor, who was a member of the PDM. He started to be persecuted after the Democratic minister complained to his ‘superior’.
Viorel Donica called on the people and on the embassies working in Chisinau to help him do examinations abroad so that he could receive treatment, together with his family, which was also infected.
