President Igor Dodon will make a visit to the Russian Federation on January 29. She informed about this when answering journalists’ questions in an event held to launch the Family Year in Moldova, IPN reports.
According to Igor Dodon, on January 30 he will have a meeting with the President of Russia Vladimir, while on January 31 will meet with Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia. The same day, he will end his visit to the Russian Federation.
Igor Dodon said with Vladimir Putin he will discuss the Moldovan-Russian bilateral relations, especially the transportation through Ukraine of particular goods important for Moldova that are covered by two decrees issued by the Russian government. Currently, these can be exported to Russia duty-free, but must bypass Ukraine and this implies additional costs.
The last time President Dodon paid a visit to Moscow last November.
