Moldovan fullback Igor Armas managed to score a goal in the 6-2 victory won by his team Kuban Krasnodar against Lokomotiv Moscow. This is the first goal scored by the 28-year-old footballer in the championship of Russia this season, IPN reports.

Igor Armas has played for Kuban since 2010. So far he scored five goals for the team from Krasnodar. Under the contract, he is to serve at the team trained by Sergey Tashuev for two more years. Armas has good chances of being designated the best Moldovan footballer this year.

The victory against Lokomotiv allowed Kuban to leave the 14th position that leads to playoffs. CSKA Moscow continues to hold the lead in Russia’s championship.
