If PDM and PL abandon AEI, they will have to withdraw their representatives from institutions, analyst

Viorel Cibotaru considers that if all the leaders come to the meeting of the AEI, it will be a sign that the alliance exists. “If the PL or the PDM withdraw from the alliance, withdraw their people from the Government and other institutions and declare themselves as an opposition party, the situation will be clearer. But I do not rule out that they will come to new understandings if they meet,” he said. According to the analyst, what happened in Parliament, when the Liberal-Democratic and Communist lawmakers voted together, was a surprise. “As the Prime Minister stated, a corrupt system was set up in Moldova, which is an impediment to overcoming the crisis. He announced measures aimed at annihilating this system. He is evidently supported by the Communist Party in his efforts to remove the persons involved in this corrupt system from power,” said Viorel Cibotaru.
