The National Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) plans to draft and adopt 26 regulatory documents in 2013. Nineteen documents are aimed at stimulating competition by promoting preventive measures that regulate the activity of providers with significant power on the market, Info-Prim Neo reports. In order to determine effective competition on the electronic communications markets, the ANRCETI will perform the second cycle of the analysis of the relevant markets, will review the definitions of the existing relevant markets and will analyze the competition situation on these markets with a view to determining the providers with significant power on the market. The Agency will approve the methodology for setting tariffs for fixed-line phone services provided to end-users by this provider. It will also adopt a set of amendments to the regulations concerning interconnection so as to adjust it to the technological developments on the electronic communications market. The program can be modified if the Electronic Communications Law and other laws and normative documents as well as policy documents concerning the ICT sector are amended, and depending on the evolution of the market.
