https://www.ipn.md/en/i-want-to-know-about-elections-election-campaign-7978_1029960.html

The campaign prior to the presidential elections starts for all the registered candidates 30 days before the election day. The aspirants who will present the subscription lists to the Central Election Commission on September 29, which is the deadline, assume the risk of starting the election campaign later as the verification of the signatures collected from voters and registration in the electoral race last for up to seven days.

The election campaign is the period during which the electoral competitors make effort to persuade the voters to choose them in elections.

The parties and other sociopolitical organizations, candidates and trustworthy persons have the right to freely discuss the electoral programs of candidates and their political, professional and personal qualities. Electoral agitation is allowed at meetings with voters, through the agency of the mass media, by placing electoral posters, etc. but only after the electoral authority registers the applicant as a runner in the race for the presidency.

The electoral competitors take part in the election campaign based on equal conditions and benefit from equal rights in using the mass media, including TV channels and radio stations funded from the budget.

On the election day and one day earlier, electoral agitation is banned. The ban does not yet refer to the information that was already placed on the Internet.
