The electoral bodies, electoral competitors and also the central and local public authorities must create conditions to ensure the access of persons with disabilities within the electoral process. Thus, the polling places on October 30 must be located in accessible public places outfitted with ramps. Also, within possibilities, these should be provided with ballots in Braille, rulers, lamps or magnifying glass.

The polling places must be reasonably adjusted to the needs of the persons with locomotor disabilities, for example the width of doors should allow wheelchair access. The buildings that house polling places must be heated, in case it is cold outside, and must be appropriately lit.

The bodies of the local public administration are responsible for the setting up of ramps at polling places. These must be fixed with cement or with screws. Under the regulations approved by the Central Election Commission, the technical parameters of the ramps are the following: minimum width of 90 cm; maximum incline of 1.5 cm for each 30 cm of road; maximum elevation of the backside of the ramp of 75 cm; minimum distance between the ramp bars and the building’s wall of 3.75 cm; mandatory bars on both sides of the ramp of a height of at least 75 cm.
