Hypothermia strikes two in Chisinau, one dies

Two cases of hypothermia were recorded last night in Chisinau. Both cases involved homeless people. One of them couldn't be saved. According to the Emergency Service, the first call came from the Placement Center on Haltei Street, where a 77-year-old man slipped into a third-degree coma after suffering hypothermia. The man was rushed to hospital and admitted to intensive care, but he didn't survive. Another man, in his 50s, was hospitalized after suffering a severe, second-degree hypothermia. He is now in a critical condition.
